2024 Featured Players

The 2024 Clovernook Open field is set.  120 players will compete for the $100,000 purse.  In total, these professionals have played in 1,311 PGA Tour sanctioned events, including 490 PGA Tour Americas, 578 Korn Ferry Tour, 87 Champions Tour, 156 PGA Tour events and 15 Major Championships.

Chase Johnson

Barberton Ohio.  Turned pro in 2018 after playing collegiately at Kent State University.  Chase won the Charlie Sifford Award in 2024. As a result he played in Tiger Woods Genesis Invitational at Riviera CC in February where he made the cut.  Other PGA Tour starts include The Memorial Tournament, The Rocket Mortgage, World Wide Technology Championship, Bermuda Championship, Cognizant Classic (former Honda Classic), and Corales Puntacana Championship.

Daniel Wetterich

Cincinnati Ohio.  Clovernooks own Daniel Wetterich played for LaSalle HS and Ohio State University.  Won the 2015 Cincinnati Metropolitan Championship. Advanced to the Round of 16 at the 2015 US Amatuer where he played against Jon Rahm, the same year Bryson DeChambeau won.  Daniel held Korn Ferry Tour membership from 2019-2022.  He has competed in multiple PGA Tour events including The Honda Classic, 3M Open, and Rocket Mortgage Classic.

Dylan Meyer

Evansville Indiana.  Won the Western Amateur and twice won the 3M Augusta Invitational while playing collegiately at Illinois.  Since turning professional in 2018 he has made 18 PGA Tour starts including a top 10 at the Sanderson Farms Championship.  Dylan has played in two US Opens including a Top 20 finish at Shinnecock Hills in 2018.

Fran Quinn

Holden Massachusetts.  New England native who turned pro in 1988.  He has won four times on the Korn Ferry Tour and twice on The Asian Tour.  Has competed in the British Open and multiple US Opens.  Was tied for second after round one of the 2014 US Open.  Became the oldest player to US Open qualify in 2022 at The Country Club in Brookline Massachusetts.  He is a current member of PGA Tour Champions.

Kyle Mueller

Athens Georgia.  Played collegiately at the University of Michigan.  Competed in 3 consecutive US Amatuer Championships at Olympia Fields, Oakland Hills, and Riviera/Bel-air.  Played in the 2016 US Open at Oakmont.  One month after playing in the 2023 Clovernook Open Kyle teed it up at Los Angeles CC for the 2023 US Open.  He went on to miss the cut by one shot alongside Jordan Speith and Phil Mickelson.  Since turning professional Kyle has made 26 starts on PGA Tour Canada including one runner up and three top ten finishes.

Tyler Collet

Vero Beach Florida. Tyler played golf at Eastern Kentucky university before turning professional in 2017.  He is a PGA of America member.  Has competed in two Major Championships (2021 and 2022 PGA Championship).  Played in 6 PGA Tour events including the Cognizant Classic (former Honda Classic) and Puerto Rico Open in 2024.

Wes Homan

Cincinnati Ohio.  Winner of the inaugural Clovernook Open in 2019.  He played collegiately for Xavier and SMU.  Wes won on PGA TOUR Canada in 2014.  Competed in more than 60 PGA Tour, Korn Ferry Tour, and PGA Tour Canada events.  Notable starts include the Rocket Mortgage Classic, Greenbrier, Barbasol, St. Jude Classic, The Memorial, Zurich Classic, Honda Classic and the Shriners Hospital Open.

Will Grimmer

Cincinnati Ohio.  Played collegiately at Ohio State University.  Won the 2018 Cincinnati Metropolitan Championship.  Played in two US Opens and made the cut at Shinnecock Hills in 2018.  Shot a career low round of 59 at Pinehurst #1.  Since turning professional in 2019 has played in multiple PGA TOUR events including The Memorial and Barbasol Championship.
